ABS on the k7
Hiya,
Does all the k7 sv650 got ABS on them or was it an option? When buying a used one, how can you tell from looking at the bike/callipers/papers? Any pics somewhere? cheers Last edited by JonnyBoy; 13-03-08 at 01:19 PM. |

We never got ABS this side of the pond and you will be able to tell as it says ABS on the front fender I believe.

I don't think we have the ABS SV yet, if we did it would have the ABS sensor ring on the front wheel like this bandit

it was an optional feature here in canada, additional $500 CND (250 pounds)
it ads about 3 kg to the dry weight of the bike. K7SA is @ 175kg. I have attached a close up of the front wheel assembly. p.s. i think it is a great safety feature for a motorcycle  By sonytonysv650s, shot with FinePix S7000 at 2008-03-13 |
