Default Northwind - Headup Display

I saw this and thought of you funny enough. HUD
Now I was thinking this should work on a bike as you could get the HUD to project on to the bike screen maybe. Though this does depend on the angle of the screen you are using, might even work with a single light fly screen, unless people can find something better suited.

I'll have to have a look when I get home as I can't see any of it here in the office.

Was going to post in a similar vein to Rictus.

The website for the HUD system is down - so I assume they went bust

Now why would you think of me

Veypor use to have a collaboration product with the HUD people, but it's off their website... If you google Veypor then the link still comes up in the google cache but not on their actual site. But that might be a good place to start...

Who on earth takes a 3-5 second look at their clocks?!!?

In reality a quick glance can't be more than 3-5 tenths, certainly no more than 1s surely?!?!

If it were 5 seconds we wouldn't last ... well 5 seconds on the road!

Are the veypor clocks waterproof Northwind? Know of anybody who installed them on SV? I sometimes dream of upgrading to digital readout on my curvy. Not sure if its an upgrade though.

I used a Veypor for a while, still got it but the speedo function blew. (they're doing me a discount for a new one even though it was out of warranty though) They call it water resistant, but there's a big hole in the back and the circuit boards are exposed, so I just went by the policy of not getting it wet at all. You could probably seal it up better... But tbh I didn't like it as sole instrumentation, it's not brilliant. I just like big analogue dials, they're easier to read!

Blue, that's marketing men for you isn't it
