Need to hire a projector

Y'know, one of those thingies that connects to a laptop.

I can't find a hire place in Shrewsbury (not surprising), does anyone know of anywhere in the West Midlands that hires AV equipment?

You could always test it thoroughly in your home witha few movies as well.

When and how long do you need it for?

It would probably cost nearly as much to hire one as to buy one.

2 days 28 - 29 April, although it's possible that we'll be repeating the presentation (on equity release) to other groups.

have just had a look at Ivojo (thanks Wyrdness!) - I've never come across this site and had no idea that they were relatvely cheap. Might well be more sensible to buy. I'm VAT registered so I can get the VAT back, and yes I can deduct it against income tax - probably too small a spend for capital allowance.

Check the resolutions on the low-end ones.

They are a bit on the low-side I think.

To see if it would work, resize your desktop to the same res and see if the presentation etc fits ok.

720p on a projector is more than sufficient. Check out the Optoma HD65, Dixons have it for £420ish and it looks to dogs.

100" projected picture or a crappy 37" LCD tv...hmmz.
