Default Guitar heads

what you see is a 1976 fender jazz bass (american)
well used with dirt in the right places on fret board, all adds to it imo
plays like a dream but with a bit of bodging under the scratch plate when somebody in its past had wired a battery into it (active/passive)
strings are dead, thats how i like them and afraid he needs a new home so....

Nice CBS Jazz, original natural finish or refin? If it's got the original pickups and finish/logo, maybe £1500, wrong pickups and finish, maybe £900.

If it's american made you'll be looking at a fair whack, if you could get it nicely restored it'll fetch a lot more.

Got to be careful how you restore, original finish with dents, sweat and scratches is highly desirable. If the pickguard is worn through all the better! Refinishes are best if you don't want to sell for best value again, a bit like repainting a bike lol

An american built fender were always the better IMO. I brought a 1967 LPG a while bac from a bloke in tnnesse and paid just under 2k for it.

Its a shame somone wired in the passive battery tho. Pm me some more photos if u can and i should be able to give a realsitic estimate what u should fetch for it
