Traffic cops (BBC1)
Did anyone see it last night? It focused mainly on bikes and bikers in general. I cant believe that the bolke on the SP1 got off with a fine and points, albeit ?750 and 6 points!
Also, that Lupo @ 125mph. Lucky we have one of them as well

How fast was the SP1 bloke going?
I refuse to go any faster than another third on the speed limit of a given road, and only then when everyone else is going that fast Matt |

apparently 20mph above any given limit is referred to magistrates. So on a single carriageway national limit of 60mph, anything upto 80mph is 3 points and ?60 but anything above, the officer can send you to a magistrate for stiffer sentencing.
Having said that, I watched an episode of roadwars on sky three where a mercedes driver undertook 9 cars at around 90mph then swerved in at the last minute, nearly caused an accident and then started undertaking again when unmarked copper pulled him. The copper decided to let him off because the guy had to drive alot as part of his job. anyhow, you can all watch traffic cops biker special on bbc iplayer here (only available till wednesday 30th april)
