After 9 weeks without broadband I cancelled my contract with Orange (formerly Wanadoo). The customer service was shocking to say the least and if I hear another Indian person tell me to do a factory reset then I may just kill myself!!!!
So anyway, I need broadband. I have cable supplied by Virgin, with BT for my phone for another month or so so I'm pretty much able to go with anyone. With such a wide choice, I need some help, which is where you guy's come in. I want quick, reliable broadband and preferably with a customer services department in this country! Regards |

Some useful links here for your to read up on isps.
http://www.thinkbroadband.com/isps.html http://www.ispreview.co.uk/review/ I'm with AOL but would not recommend them nor are there C.S.'s in this country. |

I'm with BE and I highly recommend them. I've never had any problems with them. Free static IP if you want one, no limit and a very good speed.
Requirements is a BT line. Virgin broadband is gonna be dodgy for the general public due to them wanting to stop people downloading illegally stuff like music, films and games. They are also gonna be using PHORM. |

Just switched to 02 broadband and couldn't be happier so far.
Up to 16meg for a tenner a month if you're an 02 mobile customer already, 15 quid if you're not.

Im with Virgin Media and I have to say that they are brill. Havent had any problems and they are always helpful and quick to answer the phone if you call customer service.
However, this wasnt intentional. My parents picked Telewest broadband years ago but it seems virgin media bought them out because they are now our broadband and phone line provider. £50 a month for unlimited broadband and unlimited, free calls to all landline phones (not mobile phones). Good deal in my opinion! Maria |

![]() That's 5 times what I'm paying for unlimited broadband, and I get free calls through 02 on my mobile too, to any number.

Be* are great from a speed point of view, but BT are excellent when it comes to CS/Tech Support. (Be* are substantially cheaper though!).

I think theres a TV package involved in that price somewhere. If it isn't, give them a call - I get 20Mbit BB for ?35/m.
