Default Who knows about Honda rear brakes?

Right, in my garage is a CBR 600F3 fitment rear wheel, SV for the use of. It needs a rear disc, the one it came with is visibly bent Anyone know if the Honda 4-bolt spacing is universal, enabling discs to be swapped from model to model? If so, are the diameters also standardised or are there different sizes? Any help much appreciated as ever.

I think the f2-fs ones will fit.

The disc on my RR is prettymuch identical to the one on my F sport.

Don't quoteme on that though...

The CBR600 F3 rear disc is the same part as fitted to the

CBR400R Gullarm NC29
Hornet (all years up to 2005)
CBR600F From 1991 to 2006 (not the RR)
CBR600 FS1/2 Sport 2001/2002 (not the RR)
All Fireblades from 1992 up to and inc the 954
Firestorm (all years)
SP1 and SP2

I'm doubtful about the 600RR model because the part number is slightly different, the F3 one is 43251-KEA-000 but the RR is 43251-MEE-000. That might just be a difference in one having paint on the inner or being bare metal - I don't know for certain if it will fit so best to check yourself.

Yah, I did part numbers but what I'm more wondering is if there's different discs that will also fit, ie smaller or larger, to open up the options on fitting. Cheers folks!

quite a few hondas run the same size, 220mm four hole mounting rear discs. I have bought CBR600 and Fireblade ones for my F3 wheels without any problems. Early ones have counterbored holes and on later discs the whole centre part is reduced in thckness as a weight saving exercise, but both will wok fine. I find this chart showing disc sizes from ABE useful for cross referencing discs
