Is there a difference between the pipework on a K6 to a K7.
Only asking as I have heard somewhere that the K7 has a cat built into it near the collector box thingymajig...... |

The K7 has an oxygen sensor between the collector and the weld. Some crap for emissions apparently.

I can't see how putting pipework without the sensor on will cause a problem. There are no full systems available that include an option to fit it back onto the pipework. I'm not entirely sure what needs to be done with the sensor once it's taken out, but if you don't have one it shouldn't be a problem.
If you're looking to put K7 pipework onto a K6, then obviously you'll need to blank off the hole. I believe there's packing of some description just below where the sensor goes in too, but as far as I know that could be standard on any model year. |
