Saw mesh jackets in the infinity sale at the weekend and was thinking about them. But my commute today (don't know how typical it will be) was left Guildford in the rain, then sweltering hot in London - so what could cope with that?

Alpinestarhero could you invent me a waterproof mesh jacket pretty please?

It does mean I will have to start taking my waterproof over jacket with me, but there is a space on the rear seat for that.

Akito used to make a summer mesh jacket with a removeable waterproof liner and an additonal winter thermal liner. It was quite a good jacket but they dropped it from the range a couple of years ago.
