Default well that didn't go as planned !

took the wife over to the park on the bike this afternoon, now it's probably been 5 years since she's been on the back and having seen all the pain I've been through she was very nervous indeed.

Not to worry only a 3 mile journey, big comfy seat, sissy bar and everything, really taking it easy, got down there, had a lovely afternoon, coming back on the main road car in front turns left, out of that junction another car is creeping forward, but she's looking to her left, so even though I'm on the main road I stop (better safe than sorry), with her still looking left (at no time did she look my way) she slowly moves forward with the front wheels turned to the right, now I can see she will hit me if she continues, so sound my horn (which is a big meaty one by the way) for at least 10 seconds, but she just keeps going not looking the way the car is heading at all, run across the front wheel throwing my and the Mrs onto the road.

Fortunately as we weren't moving Beth was fine apart from a bump on the hip, me however got a nasty bash right on the bad knee, saw stars and all that, had it checked out by Mayday though and I've not apparently done anymore damage, still hurts like f***.

Picture paints a thousand words and all that.

Cheers Mark.

just collected it, before the knee seizes up altogether, stuff a bit bent at the front, footpeg snapped indicator broken, but rides alright from what I can tell.

Knee is having a "bad day", but the Xrays didn't show anymore damage,Wife will probably never get back on a bike again though , me I'm stupid, might try a ride this evening if the knee quietens down a bit.

Cheers Mark.

Jeez some people.

I hope the police were involved and took statements that match the facts- ie that you were stationary

Thats one driver who should be off the road.

bringing shame to focus drivers everywhere...

good to hear at least one party was paying enough attention to avoid a more serious accident
