Default Metzeler Rennsport, road compound

Any good? There's a place locally offering them for £130 a pair in 120/60-17 and 160/60-17. He says they are 'road compound'. How do they compare to other road tyres like Pilot Powers or BT012s?

These are for another SV I've found that needs tyres. I might consider putting this one on track as well, so track performance info would be appreciated please.

had a pair on an SV in 2004, one trackday & 1850 and the rear was histroy, but better tyres than I needed that's for sure, heat up really quickly and give good feedback, I liked them although at that sort of ware rate a luxury you can't afford when doing 50,000 miles a year.

Cheers Mark.

Any idea how they compare to a Dunlop 208 RR?

Just want some cheap sticky road & track day rubber (life not a major issue) and can't decide.

Brand new K2 retired for the road mid Feb 2005 (that's a little over 2 years 4 months) total mileage 153,000 or there abouts, parked it up,although still mine my niece is currently rebuilding it for her first bike this summer, so it'll be back.

But you are correct I don't normally sell bikes I use them

Cheers Mark.
