Default Shopping list RE: my crash

OK guys, I appreciate this might be a bit boring but I'd really appreciate it

I've just had the nose off my SV to look at the damage since my off.

If you could run through the pics and basically tell me what I'll be needing and if you know of anyone selling them.

Basically if its not in the pics, it was smashed to smithereens and I've left it in the ditch.

Fine?

Also, my suzuki key snapped and I lost the PCB that controls the alarm and immobiliser, how do I sort that to get another key? Dealer? I've got the separate fob so I can still start the engine (still sounds beautiful)

If you need more detailed pics to answer, just tell me where to point my phone!

Is it economical to repair? Or do I get another, break this, keep the remainder for spares. Engine has done under 7k.

And yes, it is a traffic cone in my yard.
Thanks,
T

Ah yes, I meant to edit to say that I have the undamaged infill for below the lights.

Ideally, I'd like to go back to stock, but it may have to be in stages due to funds.

What is a subloom? The thing I am holding in my hand? What does the subloom control?

Think its probably a good idea to get a new front subframe, rather than bending that one back?

Yes you are holding the subloom , its what plugs into the front of the bike to supply the front lights .
Clearly you need a front fairng and front sub frame .
Can you see if your radiator is ok and also how do the forks look . You may also want to check for leaks by firing it up and achiving running temperature . This will put pressure on any weak spots in the system . These are the big things to get sorted first before you start making it look pretty again .
Chin fairing infill and clock infill should be on your list aswell as a new /replacement set of lights .
Mirriors , indicators , clocks and levers all look reusable but you have to get a new tank aswell .

the sub-loom branchs of the other conector behind the clocks and runs the front light and indicators.

depending on how bad the front sub frame is bent which in the pics dosnt look 2 bad i would defo just straightin it back out as ther pretty hard 2 get used and they cost a mint new.

Rad looks OK, no leaks or rips in hoses, fins are good.
Forks go up and down without any visible twisting.

Will get it up to temp tomorrow. How much is a front fairing / nosecone arrangement?

it would depend on where you go and weather you want an orignal siler one or not or just egt any colour then get it painted threw time.

best place for parts would be ebay and/or get a wanted post up on here for any bits you need.

I bought a K3 silver one about 3 years ago now from a Suzuki dealer and it was around the 150 pound mark, which actually pretty cheap!
