OK folks- for those of you that have the autocom unit mounted and powered from the bike........
.......show me yours ![]() Pointy installs especially welcome, but I'm looking to see the kind of tricks that you all use to make the whole affair easier for yourself. I already have a scottoiler under the pillion seat, so that robs a bit of space but I'm confident that some of you have worked miracles. Cheers, Garry ![]() |

Can you do the same trick as on the curvy and chuck the fusebox tray?

As for autocom, I don't have one, but have a couple of spare +ve and -ve wires on my bike... ![]() |

I'll take some pictures of mine later tonight. The way I installed it was to ask the nice German bloke at the BMW dealers to do it for free!!
By the way good choice they work really well. |

Mine is fitted under the pillion seat, but kinda closer to the front seat (I can take a photo Sunday if you need me to) - I also took the + feed from the rear lights as per advice of the local dealer.

Thanks for the replies so far guys.
I've been using the Autocom for a while now (Pro 7 Sport) and just pop it in the magnetic map pouch. However, with Quedos making preparations for her Advanced test, we've been using it more often and I've got a power lead sitting in the box. I'm just not sure that I've space along with other bits. Pics would be most helpful. Garry ![]() |

I forgot to put these up before hope there of some use. The helmet fittings aren't too hard to fit, a bit of gaffer tape helps keep thing in place.

Nice one that man.
That's exactly the kind of thing I was after. My problem is that I have my disklock hiding down there and my Scottoiler is also under the pillion seat. Despite this, I also manage to keep my cans baffle in there in case it needs to go in a bit sharpish and also a visor cleaner and bike jump lead. Must have a poke around the plastics when I replace the alarm tilt sensor! Garry ![]() |
