another "just put an exhaust on :)" thread
I've just finished fitting the beowulf exhaust to my sv. Took it out for a quick blast around the block and feck me, what a sound... In 30/40mph limits I love knocking it upto 4th and 5th gear and accelerating gently from low revs - gives a real gurgle
 fitting was as easy as everyone described, used an angle grinder for most of the pipe and then a hack saw for the remaining inch of circumference. Just one minor thing - when I tried starting the bike after fitting the exhaust it worked fine. 30 mins later when I started the engine to take it for a ride, the starter motor (or atleast I think it was the starter) made a 'chink' sound and the engine didnt fire. Tried it again and "CHINK" again. 3rd time it started fine - have I upset anything? or was it just one of those wierd techy things which just happens sometimes? ta!

i'll see if I have any more trouble starting but if not no worries... I doubted it'd be the new zaust but it's not done it before so I was a bit baffled
 it's loud as feck

Mine does that too occasionally, sometimes does it when I've blip the throttle a few times too. Would be good to know what causes it.
