Default Back in business

Bike repairs done and dusted----just me,but I should be back to 100% in a couple of weeks
Its amazing what a silly low speed accident comes to cost wise
  1. Bike repairs------------------------£1400
  2. Jacket-----------------------------£ 200
  3. Lid---------------------------------£ 350
  4. GPS--------------------------------£ 120
  5. Loss of recovery bonus--------------£ 70
  6. Loss of excess----------------------£ 250
  7. Injury claim ?
Total comes to £2390 plus whatever ? and all for a set of plastics and brake levers

No wonder our insurance costs what it does but I seem to be luckier than some as it has been nearly all sorted apart from my injury within 4 weeks

Surprised they didn't write it off at that cost

The actual damage to the bike was all superficial and as this was what was claimed for under the bike insurance[?1400] and as it was less than half the value of the bike they authorised the repair. All the other stuff is being claimed back under the Legal Expenses Protection
This is nothing to do with the bike insurance but looks like it will be quite a bit more than the damage costs
I'm happy enough in just getting the bike repaired.

Nice day so I risked a little bimble, nothing mega 98miles and 2 breaks but my arm doesn't hurt riding the bike, only aches after dismounting.Tomorrow is another day so providing the weather is OK I will have another crack at it.

Only 20 days to go so best get a bit of practice.
