Has anyone got one of these? they look fairly useful and plenty available for a reasonable price.
I am looking for any hints and tips on what to choose from people with first hand experience. Having a quick look the Epsons seem to have reasonably priced ink cartridges which other than the plain sales statistics (resolution etc) is the only thing i can think of checking. Some seem to have wifi now too, which is even better. |

i have an epson. Cost £30 or there abouts from Dixons. Does the job. The only think that i dont like is the fact you cant scan multiple pages into one file. Its creates a single file for each page.
This is the kiddy |

I would be tempted to get something with a sheet feeder for the scanner section.

epson tend to have superior photo quality and cheap cartriges but hp can be a bit quicker and cheaper to run in the long run.

Canon. Cheaper to run, well built, and great quality.

![]() ![]() seriously get a hp or epson, its not like they are expensive anymore and if you get your cartridges refilled you can save a bit of money too. |

I got a Brother DCP-117, and a DCP-115, I find them great. They have a built in SD, XD and CF card reader, will also do photocopies from the printer without needing the PC on. Had the 117 for 2 years now, never given me a problem

Interesting. Looks like the odds are tipped in Epson favour at the moment.
Will try and understand all the specs and see what I come up with. I am sure any of them will be suitable for the small amount (but important) of work it will do but if I can avoid annoying things like the scanning 1 page at a time problem I will feel like I have made a good decision! |
