Default Stupid question about fitting a Hamicad

I know this is a stupid question so please forgive my ignorance, i was trying to fit my hamicad tail tidy this afternoon but when it came to pushing out the little black poppers in the bodywork i really struggled, am i missing an obvious technique? The instructions say just push the middle section and they pop out. All i successfully managed to do was snap the pointy bit on the inside of one. Luckily i was called away to give a friend a lift before i lost my temper!

I know i'm probably being a clumsy moron but can anyone offer some advice?

Cheers

Use a philips screwdriver and just poke the centre inwards gently , stick a thumbnail under the outer rim and prise it out , took about 8 of these out this weekend when I did my shock swap , easy to do mate just be gentle with them .

I've just bought one of these which should arrive tomorrow. Glad to see I'm not the only one who struggles with trivial fixings... No doubt I'll be back asking what I need to do to unlock the seat cowl will be in touch with you shortly badger

Easy, when you know how! I was being a clumsy moron but they way you described it worked perfectly so god knows what i was trying to do!

After all that the taily tidy didn't fit any way I don't think it's a fault of Hamicad cos i emailed them and explained that one hole on the tail tidy didn't line up with the lug it was supposed to fit to on the frame and they have been really helpful. The dude fom Hamicad said the parts are all made on a jig so the hole is in the right place every time but he had experienced the same problem once before; the lug is probably slighly out of place on the frame of the bike.... he is going to look into making me a 'special' one off from the next batch to fit. Top customer service!
