Default sv650 cam chain tensioner

am i right in thinking I can replace my w reg sv650 front cam tensioner with a k3 one? what are the advantages and how hard is it

Yep, you can. But the advantages are 0 unless there's something wrong with the old one. Well, it's a bit quieter but that's not a big advantage, a bit of noise is only natural. I had to replace one, so I got a blown up engine for ?60, fitted the tensioners to mine, and sold the rest of it for ?150
