hey everyone, been a while since i last spoke. Just finished uni, and trying to find a job now. harder than i thought! got an offer today for a job in fife, with travelling to france as well. sounds interesting but the big catch is that i currently live in bournemouth. long way so i will have to move obviously. just want to know if anyone here live in fife, and what its like. the weather, the city life, etc. see what i might be getting myself into. Also if anyone knows of anywhere who is looking for a product designer which isnt so far away please inform me as i will be leaving everyone down here. not my favourite option, but depends on what they are going to offer me.
cheers |

well where do they mean by fife?? its a bit of a general area north of the forth oposite edinburgh. if you think of the potential for some awesome biking on your doorstep then its a good location to start! if you wish to sample the awesome roads we have up north think of the glencoe massacre ride out in august! check out the rideout page!
but scotland is a great place if your into outdoor type sports, skiing/boarding in winter, mountain biking anytime! lots of water about for canoeing etc.... also if your just over the bridge not really that far from edinburgh, s still can have a big city life if thats what you like. prob doesnt properly answer any question you asked! but let us know where it if and we can take it from there! |

Dunfermline pretty much the same as everywhere else inthe uk-has good and not so good places-if your into outdoor stuff you'll love it everything is almost on your doorstep-weather is slightly better than the west coast side of the country, and the natives talk with a funny accent but don't hold that against them-if you get the chance and you've no other job offers what you got to lose?

dunfermline is alright, few pubs and clubs in and around the town. its not a mssive city or anything but i've never been to bournemouth to compare!
well if you like to hike and bike then scotlands the place to be! you seen how many big hills we have here! plus think how awesome the roads are getting to these hills! for mountain biking your prob an hour and a bit maybe away from peebles/borders area with loads of awesome mountain bike trails, from glentress, 7 stanes, innerleithen etc... plus your in a good location for heading north be it taking the car for hiking north, central, east coast, plus tons of biking in and around the place. if you like the outdoors i think you'd love moving to scotland! |
