Question zx6r 2007 shock for a curvy?

Hey folks, long time no see.

Having had a blast round Donington on a mate's minitwins SV race bike, I have decided that it really is time to sort the bouncy bits on my SV (wow what a difference a few bits makes)

Does anyone know if the rear shock from a 2007 Kwak ZX6R will work OK on a K1 SV please? I've read lots and lots and lots of posts about ZX6 shocks on the SV (including the one with the table of shocks and spring rates), but they all talk about A2B and PDQ models and I'm a bit confused...

Also, if anyone's got a set of Ohlins springs or Racetec Emulators that they're finished with then please drop me a line (I'm guessing that this is equivalent to asking "if anyone's finished with Kylie then please pass me her number"?)

Thanks folks.

Cheers

Ey

No

What do you weigh?

I've got one of the 05-06 shocks fitted, the 07 is different again, no idea if it fits.

If you're light and don't carry pillions much I'd advise SRAD750, gives lots of extra ride height at the rear, seems to improve ground clearance and is worlds apart from standard... BUT it's very soft.

Thanks Yorkie.

I am about 75kg so maybe SRAD is the way to go. Or I just buy the 07 ZX6 shock and see what happens!

Cheers
