OK, normally I do not mind animals, in fact I like them. However I cut the grass today (after two weeks or so) and there is a turd the size of a hot dog. It stinks to hell and back so I am now officially declaring war on those little suckers. I got my water pistol on standby and I will make their lives misery. What makes it worse I know they are my neighbours cats that use the garden as their toilet so I am tempted to return it over the fence whilst still steaming hot!

Once my cat ****ed in my helmet. My mum threw it out (the helmet, not the cat).
Now I never trust a feline.... |

Oh my God Tim I would be killing cats on sight if it happened to me!
How's the living on beans? Or have you recovered from the German trip already? |

Been raiding the freezer!
Not quite recovered, as my mate JC said, "We've been living in a playstation world." Did a trackday at Croft on Friday, more cracking weather and SV spanking. Finished it off with copious amounts of beer, wine and cigars in the last of the evening sun in my back garden, I'm now on the biggest come down ever... I need to mainline some Nordschleife NOW..... |

i'm fairly indifferent to cats, we have three and they generally show me as much contempt as i show them back, but we have a tom that comes into our garage and sprays on my bikes, then into the house, and sprays. when it does it i lock the catflap so i trap it inside the house, then the dog usually wakes me up growling at it at about 3am. i go down and, erm, [italian mobster voice]remind[/italian mobster voice] the cat that it's not welcome here. it remembers this and doesn't come back for about three months when the cycle begins again

Solution to other cats coming in is to fit a magnetic car flap. Not cheap, but we had an issue with ours being upset by another cat coming in. We had the same spraying problems too.
Since fitting the magnetic flap it can't get in so the problems have gone away. There is also an art to cleaning up cat spray. DO NOT USE BLEACH. There is something in bleach that mimics the scent of another cat. Some research on the net pointed us to using a warm biological washing powder solution which you let dry, then clean again with surgical spirit. Also let that dry naturally. Magnetic cat flaps mean VERY strong magnets attached to you cats collars. This provides much fun if you use metal feeding bowls. |

![]() unfortunately our cats don't like collars so they just do backflips until they come off ![]() if your cats are chipped you can also buy a catflap which reads the information in the chip and decides to let the cat in or not ![]() not cheap, but may save you in the long run: http://www.petporte.com/ BTW: cats supposedly don't like citrus... oh and finally, i put it in the video thread, but if the cat insists on coming back you could always wash it... http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1738258

I find cats don't like both barrels of a shotgun. Trust me
![]() It also tends to make a mess of the lawn. but what the heck, a bit of grass seed and nobody will know. But when the neighbour comes round asking have you seen tiddles, It is bloody hard not to giggle like Verna (BBC)

![]() You mean nasty man... We have two cats, both Ginger toms and both very well behaved. However there is also another cat around here that comes in and steals food and we do use a repellent spray on the little s0d... ![]() I wouldn't mind so much were it not a vicious spiteful hate filled thing, trying to catch the animal as it runs about the flat can be quite daunting, think I would rather wrestle an alligator or another woman in a mud pit, but that may just be me being strange! ![]() |
