Does anyone know where i can find my chassi number?

pretty much any bike will have it stamped on the headstock

ah, i thought it was a requirement or a gentlemen's agrement kind of thing to have it on the headstock, i'm so used to looking at supermoto bikes the last few months they've got nothing in the way to view the number, but on the SV it's definitely easier to go looking for the plate

My original SV, had the VIN plate removed, nothing suspicious, the headstock stamp matched V5 etc. Original owner said he didn't like the look of that black patch on the silver frame.
