Default Wanted : Reg/Rectifier

I am after a Reg/Rectifier that will be compatible with a 2000 curvey.

I want one from a known working bike.

Cheers.

Can you solder? It'd dead easy to swap the plugs between 02 and earlier, they're essentially the same unit with different plugs.

The problem northy is the the rec/ regulator is possibly working and I don’t want to cut the plug on it just yet.

The symptoms are the charging circuit charges when the headlights are turned off but as soon as you turn them on the charging circuit fails and drains the battery.

The second reason is I can get access to the connector to swap the regulator over but not to directly wire one in I intend to plug a working unit in and if it solves the problem drill the screw out and install it properly if not I will be looking for some help
.
