Default oil flush and fuel additives

Simple question(s),
who uses an oil flush when doing oil changes,
who uses fuel additives,
who uses both
and what do you use?

No, modern oils are highly detergent thus you don't need to flush between changes.

No, there's no need, the possible exception being if your bike suffers from carb icing, in which case an additive may help.

Oil flush ... have done before on highly neglected bikes, don't see the point in general use.

Fuel additives, never seen the point except for adding octane booster and methanol on something mental.

although Ian is correct, I do like to use a cheap oil for a few miles on a complete rebuild and then change it, and the dry fuel stuff has saved me stripping the carbs down for now.

Cheers Mark.

What is this you talk of ? I have seen lots of threads asking for oil recommendations. AFAIK Bear (running a total loss lubrication system) still pays for Halfords oil, is there a cheaper alternative?

& what's that? & what's it do?

I think it's basically meths which mixes with water in fuel and allows it to burn off, probably some other stuff in there too...

Meths in the oil is bad. Meths in the fuel is something I've done but would not reccomend as I can't guarantee it's safety...
