Default pain in the neck

Every time I am using my laptop lately I have developed a pain in the neck, continually bent to see screen.

should I ask my boss for a docking station, keyboard, proper screen and arm to lift screen to eye level?.

They have to, full stop.

I always tell my dad this when he is working from home with his laptop propped up by some books so his neck and back don’t ache.

Your employer legally has to provide these.

Its one of the many problems of working from home, employers neglect the staff and don’t provide workstation assessments which would pick up that these items are required.
