Default better seats

could someone help me find a more padded seat for my new SV650S. I'm commuting 40-50miles a day and a few hundred miles when I go for a rideout and the derrier is getting a bit numb!

Also are they easy to fit if you get them? Are they motorbike specific etc?

(I'm quite new to this! )

I used to do a 50 mile each way commute on my K6. Never found a problem with the seat tbh.

There's folks like Corbin that will make a custom seat for you (but you have to send your seat to them). Or you can buy gel pads etc that sit over the seat.

Google & ebay are your best friends really.

As for fitting, no idea if you ride a curvy, but on a pointy, the rider seat is 4 bolts.

I assume I have a "pointy", but I'm new to the forum so don't know - how curvey/pointy are we talking here - is this the front headlight fairing?

@DMC-SV - did you buy that from a Suzuki dealer or privately? Do you have a model number or anything?

I had a 2002 'curvey' sv. The seat was bought off e-bay years ago. Can be got from Suzuki dealers though:
