the anchor derby

the anchor near matlock it used to be on thurs but i went early this year n was talkin to the owner n he said hes stopping the bike nights (some people were proper mental) not been because he said that.

has any1 else been was wondering if he actualy has stopped it or not?????????????

Its not stopped.

Why would they stop something that formed a massive part of the business.

It was taken over and the new owner did say they may stop the evening at locals request, then realised that local car clubs/bike clubs and even non local clubs evenings etc made up quite a big part of their sales, and hence it carried on otherwise there would be no business.

Alot of people now go to the peacock out of spite, so that is now just as busy as the anchor

ow right. cus we were actualy speakin with the owner about march n he said he was gona put up a get n stop bikers goin in. there were posters n stuff sayin "thurs bike night stopped"

is it still realy busy n do people go peacock on a thurs.
