Does anyone want ?

Ive just moved over to sky for my broadband and have a brand new NTL / Virgin broadand modem up for grabs, you can have for the price of the postage and packing, probably about ?1.80 or something including the jiffy bag.

Thats odd, cus virgin should have taken it back, as you never own them, they are just on hire from virgin. That's why you never see them on ebay as if you sell it on you are effectivly stealing there equipment. The V+ boxes are the same... as I've seen a few things going on about it over at cable hell.

Yeah I thought that as well, until I got courtesy call from them on mon night asking me to go back, when I told them they couldnt match the price the girl on the phone said ''you may as well bin the modem, we dont want it back '' thought it might be handy spare for someone.

Well if they are charging £24.99 a month for effectively 2 megs broadband speed Im sure they can afford it

That's very expensive, I get phone, 4mb broadband (waiting on the 10mb free upgrade), and XL TV package, one downstairs and one upstairs for 45quid. I even got them to pay for my xbox live subscription.

Yeah thats why I left em in the end, too pricey, I rang em a couple of times to see if there was any better deals for existing customers, the last time they virtually said if you dont like go elsewhere so I have, and took great pleasure in reminding em of that on mon night

I did the same as oddly enough I almost when to BT's TV service until I got that last offer. You must have got the cancelation teams moron.

Im with virgin (well...my parents are) and I think they pay £30 odd quid for unlimited broadband & unlimited calls to landline numbers. 24.99 just for the net is pretty expensive, dont blame you for moving..!
