Why when it's probabily the best day we have had so far this year I am stuck inside with man flu?? Would have love to have gone out on the bike today...well, I probabily could've gone but my concentration levels would have been low.

Girlfriend came round and looked after me. She got a little moody when I said how much i wanna be out on the bike though!

Here's hoping that next weekend will be just as nice!

Bearing in mind what you are giving up, and presumably she realises what that means to you ... at least she must realise you are not putting it on ... this gives you credibility next time you fake it to get out of doing something you don't want to do with her!!
