No ACU licence needed - so instantly more accessable. And costs wise - it's ne of those where you can spend what you like. The bike I have there is £500 delivered to your door. Then maybe another £200 - £300 on wheels/tyres, allowed modification etc. I've spent just less than £500 by buying a second hand bike. I'm only doing it for a giggle, so not spending a fortune. A weekends racing (practice & qualifying on Sat then 3 races Sunday) costs approx £65. So cost wise, I think it is really cheap - and the beer and bbq's on an evening are a bonus ![]()

And Rai86 - Depends on what the bike is. There's that many of 'em floating about, really cheap Chinese import type stuff upto fully race preped monsters. There is a couple of clubs (that I know of) that race nationally. The MMRA - who I'll be racing with (already race the minimoto sidecars) and then the newly formed NPS. All club info is on the above link too. Cmooooooooooooooooooon. Who's up for a giggle?
