Look at similar bikes on the market at the moment, watch bikes on ebay.

Yup, ebay is a good guide to go by. Don't overprice your bike or you'll just look like a mong and get no interest.

Be aware that new bikes are going for £4200~ or so.

Honestly mate? I'd say take the levers, and the can, the comfy seat and top-box attachment and sell them (on here maybe?) seperately. I'm sure someone will pay £75 or £80 for a set of Pazzos, where as they're not likely to get you more than 50p above an equivalent bike without them.

General rule of thumb is to try and sell the bike as standard as possible..things like R&G's, Scottoilers, etc are the sort of things buyers like to pay £50 more for, even if it's for peace of mind.

Good advice there.

I just got just over 3.5k for my 05 sv with fairings, bungs etc that had 5500 miles on it.

Sv's are only viewed as a budget "first bike" so wont really be worth much.

Great, thanks guys. Reckon I will return to standard as much as possible. Have got a scottoiler on it too, forgot about that. Will take the pazzos and seat off and topbox for sure.

Thanks Husky, for that site.
