Default New bike, should I?

Well the wife has spent my new bike money on a new fire and doing up the house. Lesson learned about joint accounts there.

Well she is due to come into some cash. She has said that I can trade in my 600 for a new gixxer 750/1000 and she will cover the cost.

Should I let her. I think she would be better spending the cash on herself. something she wants. That way she will leave my savings alone in the future. who knows she may even learn to save herself.

Do I give her a big kiss and take her money, the thought of it makes me feel cheap. I have always provided from the day I met her hate the thought of taking cash from her.

It's the 21st century Tim. Sexual equality, both partners provide.

Take the money and run. You may never get the chance again, and you can bet your savings will continue to get raided.

Do as a woman would, accept no reparation then bring it up at every possible opportunity!

Tim
Seriously do not do anything that could possibly impair your enjoyment of your new bike.

If you could live with her reinstating your savings with the money that she's getting & then you buy your bike, I'm guessing that's as close as you would let yourself accept?

Oh &

If it was your new bike money anyway. Why not? Think of it as her borrowing and repaying it. Just make sure the cost of your new bike is equal to whatever girly things she bought

*sigh* Tim is not a grumpy man...

... he's a grumpy gentleman.

Yes, you've always provided for her, but perhaps, for once, maybe you could let her provide something for you. Let;s face it, it's an aspect of your life that she has never been a part of, so perhaps there will be an element of happiness involved for her in such a contribution.

Than again she just may be looking for a way to control the last freedom you have to call your own by claiming you may have paid for the bike, but the funds she provided paid for the keys!
