Looking to get one - Done and a few searches on here and seems like the Hamicad one seems good?
Anyone got experience with them - Any quality issues or anything? Is any irreversible work needed to fit it? Or any other recommendations for that matter.. How do they preform in wet weather aswell? Does the lack of the snowshovel standard one mean it kicks up alot of water, since I ride all weathers with commuting, don't really want to get covered in sh*te everytime the roads wet. Thanks in advance, Mat |

u do get some spray off the rear thrown over the tail of your bike but the tail tidy is a must in making your sv look good

Ive got an R&G on mine haven't had no problems. Prefer the smaller light on the R&G compared to the big light on the hamicad.

Is that the one that requires you to drill/screw into the underside of the tail? |

Think i paid 60 quid for mine not sure how much the Hamicads are.
Not sure to be honest had it fitted for free when I bought the bike. Couldn't ride around with that snow plough attached. |

The Hamicads require no permanent modifications, they make two types as well I believe (one for OEM indicators and the other for aftermarket indicators). The number plate light is the OEM one reused on the Hamicad. No build quality issues to complain about either.

I'm very happy with my hamicad.
OEM indies & light look fine. I even have a normal sizeplate; looks much better than the original set up. |

Canr remember what make mine is but it looks great easy to fit as well and it was only about 50 quid. Have a look on ebay. Oh and to stop any spray which is not a problem on mine just get a rear hugger to finish the look of the rear end off!!

The hugger doesn't stop this type of spray, it is the spary that comes over the back wheel and onto the pillion seat area. A hugger will only stop spray going to your legs and the rear shock area.
