Just been out on the bike for the first time since y'know...

Well, I've just been on the bike for the first time since I broke it/myself in Kazakhstan.

I put some new mirrors on the bike & tried to sort out the electrics with super glue and then rode to the garage to a) charge the battery b) get some fuel.

Despite not riding the bike since the beginning of May it started first time. Good old Beamers! ;o)

Without all the luggage on the bike it was surprisingly nimble. It felt good to let rip on tarmac!!!

I must remember that we drive on hte left in the UK.....

All I need now is about £500+ of stuff (fairings, handle bars, side stands, switchgear etc etc etc) to get the bike to its former glory then i can sell it!

I'm very clever!

Nope - the handle bars are slightly bent - so I can't put the steering lock on.

I *knew* should have bought the renthal bars...
