Default Scam on autotrader.co.uk while looking for a sv 650

Hey a heads up on a scam i was i was just pulled on.

I am looking for a sv 650 for my mate on www.autotrader.co.uk
I came across a sv 650 2005.
A good bike very clean looking for around 2200,
I called the number and i thought it was a bit strange as it was a 0704 number
Just found out I will be charged £1.50 or more a min for the call, was on for 5 min call.

the number is weird because autotrader hide the seller's actual phone number for privacy, they charge 1.50 a minute as that's where they make there money

most advertising websites / papers do it

The common man is always the loser. From fuel fiasco to rising food prices to stealth taxes to not being able to defend your property. Hard not to despair, sometimes.

It doesnt make cense as some numbers are like normal number 078, 079
Surely all the number would be the same.
I thought they made there money on charging the seller for placing the add on there site.

Ring them then hang up and wait for a reply via text or call then call the real mobile number.

Autotrader is terrible at this stuff, they claim to have experts that prevent these things from happening but it surely can't be working judging by all the scam adverts that they have.
