Yes. Apart from "Unforgiven III" - a very welcome and long overdue return to what they're best at.

Ah well , Unforgiven was a good song but I didn`t think much of Unforgiven II so III will probably be of small interest to me . Really liked St.Anger for the way they went about it but Load and Re-Load are albums I just blot from my mind and rarely listen to . Metallica was the first band I ever saw on the "Justice" tour and they blew me away , I last saw them on the Re-Load tour in Earl`s Court and was horrified by their performance , hopefully this gig will restore my faith and that buzz I got from seeing them Live .

IIRC I was introduced to them in 1990 by an old (my age then) stoner at my local. He lent me the back catalogue of old stuff.

How can you prefer St Anger to any of their other stuff!? Anyway, I have heard one song off Death Magnetic, and it seemed much better than before, but I think not very good still. I dunno why, just didn't speak to me. I think I don't like James' vocals anymore

Not very secret if its at the O2...but there is nothing on the O2 website about it? Where'd you get tickets? |

The album's downloadable from various places but it probably comes with a little uploaded Lars Ulrich who'll tell you off for being a thief, then call the police
![]() I heard Cyanide and The Day That Never Comes at Reading, they were both pretty decent... TDTNC was a bit of a mess, too many directions, but still interesting. Cyanide had a big groove thing going on that Metallica don't usually have, but still very Metallica. Actually, I thought they were better in a lot of ways than I've ever seen them, they're not afraid to mess with the songs now and a lot of the older ones had some real differences, gave them a lot of life and energy back. Kirk's solos were really different too, you could see him pushing himself (making mistakes, you don't see that often) and trying new styles. I liked Jason Newstead but I think Trujillo's making a real difference, which Jason was never really allowed to. Certainly a better time to see them than 5 years ago.
