I think i can recall someone else asking the same question not too long ago. It was pointed out that they were illegal in this country due to there not being the required distance between left and right indicators, although they are quite easy to fit.

Was behind a pointy with this mod an no other indi's the other morning going round Elephant and Castle.
The orange LED's used are too pale and too dull, you could see them go from red to orange, but as the LED's were in the same place and of the same brightness as the stock rear light, they didnt really draw your attention to the fact that the guy was indicating. In fact I guess that had I not been wondering where the indi's were, and so looking for it, I may not have noticed. Which kind of makes me glad I didn't go for this option 2 years ago when I was thinking of it, it may look cool, but in operation, its cack.

Don't use them, they are dangerous, you can hardly see the indicators at times.
Remember bikes are not very visible on the roads, why decrease any aspect of visibilty, especially at night! |

I had them, fitting them to the bike was easy enough. However, I left normal indi's on and peeps told me that you could hardly see the flashing LED's. So I took it out.
Also, me and one other who has had them (Girth) have both had electrical problems with them. On mine it caused my indi's to remain on, once turned off a couple of times. I was also riding along once, went to check my speed and at the same time all the hazards started flashing crazy fast. Went home, took it out and never had the problems again. IMO, you get a better look with small mini indies.

They're not legal in the UK. Brake and position lamps are not allowed to flash. It's a common problem with US imports, they don't get through the MOT, let alone the obvious pull from the police.
