Angry ouch

I knew life had been toooo good recently, the fate gods have bit me.Tonight on the way home from work, after 4 days of lovely weather it starts to rain.I know the roads are gonna be greasy so I try to be careful....but, on an island I loose it,,not going too fast but still go over the right bar and end up looking at sky,,thinking,,,what happened there????
Now, my nice blue sv 650s has scratches and cracks on the right fairings and I have lost my brake pedal,,and indicators,,,,ouch...
My textiles did their job but where I landed is still sore,,and for some reason my left thumb is swelling!!!!
Am off to search for ideas how to fix my bike,,,and take some ibuprofen now,,,just a not to all,
,LOOK OUT FOR THAT OILy STUFF ON ISLANDS,,,it bites!!!!

Best get the thumb checked out if it keeps giving you grief.

Big hugs from Woozle land, glad you weren't hurt too much, get yourself checked over nevertheless. The bike sounds like it can be easily mended.

Bad oily stuff and bad rain !!

A big hug from The Woozle. Can do wonders for stiffness and swelling.

Sadly this won't be the last thread this year about a similar occurence. At least you don't sound too knocked about and the bike can be easily fixed.

Sorry to hear that man , at least you walked away from the accident and trust me , it`s a better result than being carted off in a meat wagon , bikes can always be fixed , lives can`t .

Get it seen too ASAP. I broke quite a lot of my thumb/wrist joint and it's still rather sore, and likely to get worse rather than better.
