Default Which one of these 32" LCD's?

Just when I think I've made up my mind, I see something or read something that throws it all up in the air again.

Been on some AV forums but there really slow to answer any questions you have so I'm throwing it open to you guys.

Want to get it this week so I can get it all set up on the weekend preferably!

My shorlist is now:

Sony KDL32S3000 for £400
Panasonic TX32LMD70 for £400
LG 32LG3000 for £380
Samsung LE32A457C1DXXU for £380
Toshiba 32AV505D for £350

Richer sounds are doing some good deals for me so I'll get a tilting wall mount thrown in for about 10-15 quid on top of these prices but if anyone knows where I can get these significantly cheaper then I'm open to suggestions!

Regards

Have you viewed or listened to any of thes units?

I know the sound on the Panasonic and sony units is very good. Never listened to the others.

Viewed all of them and heard 3 of them. Unfortunately, no shop has all 5 of them for a head-to-head comparison. All the shops seem to want to connect sources via different connectors, some HD some SD some via scart, some ordinary aeriel!!

The sony case looks crap and in a couple places the screen looks good others it looks crap, sound is good

The LG case is amazing, it sounds ok and pic can look good or oversaturated and grainy, depending on which shop I viewed it in.

Pany looks ok but was in a window so couldn't quite tell

Toshiba from memory is ok but could only view in HD via HDML which I think is a bit unfair

Samsung looks good but sound is a let down.

Samsung has always had a good picture but sounds poo.

I would go for the Panasonic or possibly the LG (I have heard goodish things about LG.)

I'd take the LG myself as I've had experiance with their screens before.

Cheers Mark.

Blimey! They're getting cheap. I paid a bag of sand for my 32" Sony 2 years ago. Pleased with it though. Good picture, but not sure about the sound as I play it through my home cinema set up.

Have you looked at Philips. Pictures on those are superb. As I understand it, Philips make most of the panels any way and the other manufacturers put their cases round it.

Been reading reviews for the various screens and just can't seem to find anyone that has a chart or has tested all of these screen!!

Trusted Review rates the Toshiba very highly (only marking it down on sound!)
What Hifi rates the Sony (well the 32p3020 which is almost identical) very highly (only marking it down for aesthetics and it's menu)
The LG is the most aesthetically pleasing to me!

Aargh!!
