Recently been thinking about buying AGV S4 helmet. The url is as follows:
http://www.agv.com/RANGE/S4/S4BLACKSILVER.HTM Anyone used this? Would like to find out if this is a good helmet/weight of the helmet, etc. Thanks, |

I have it, quite light and the vents are quite good for the summer. Very good vision too and antifog is quite good on the visor. Be careful on your choice of size. I picked a large because it fitted snug in the shop but after 3 months I knew i should of picked a medium because the padding compresses somewhat.
Certainly stands out and while filtering through donnington park traffic my dad says it was brilliant for keeping sight of me. That's blue and white though. A guy at my work has the one in the pic (black/grey) with a red tint visor and it looks really cool. If you do wear glasses check they fit ok with the helmet on, I can't wear sunglasses with mine. ![]() |

I have the blue and white helmet and find it really comfortable. Good helmet for the price. and in my opinion is a bit different with the matt finish and design.

Are the vents any good? How long have you had it?

Hi s4 owners,
Can any of you tell me how to release the visor? Mine came with no instructions and the literature online doesn't mention it either. It's supposed to be a quick release isn't it? I've had a good look at mine and it isn't obvious! |

Lift the visor. On the right hand side (looking at it) you will see a little lever. Push that up and raise the visor a little more. It will snap out (quite loudly - thought I'd broke mine first time) than lower the visor until that whole side pops off.
For the left side, keep lowering the vsior until that bottom part pops out then the visor should just come away. Reverse the procedure to replace. Re-reading that, it sounds complicated but it should work. Ps. I have the negative version of the pic - Silver with black stripes and a silver mirrored visor. Looks pretty cool IMHO. |
