Unhappy Frank Thomas Aquatec Boots H20307

Just thought i'd let you know how i got on with this boot http://www.frank-thomas.co.uk/index....&product_id=26 Got a brand spankin pair on 9th june and had been wearing them several times a week, maybe 5. They had broken in really well, were extremely comfy and warm while on and pretty good for walking around in. They had armour in all the right places and toe sliders. All in all they looked really well made and felt good to ride in. Took them back to the shop today.

The list of woes was many. The velcro on the left calf fastening had come unstitched, and part of the left zip had been missed when it was stictched up which didn't show until they'd been worn a few times and given a bit. Then the stitching on the right calf fastening started to come away. And the plastic heel tabs on both boots had chafed or dug in and sliced the top cover of the material in the heel section. And the right boot once let in a small leak between the top of the zip and calf velcro.

I was really disappointed to have to take them back cause the last pair of FT boots I got were really good, and I was expecting the same from these. I'm getting a pair of these instead ... http://www.feridax.com/product/W-0a4...tex+Black.html

OHHH POOOHH

I bought a pair of those two weeks ago!

Still in the "breaking in" phase, but so far they have been OK and have proven to be waterproof!

I will inspect them closly in the morning, if there are any problems the sooner they go back the better.

Thanks for the heads up!

I hope yours last better than mine! Like I said, I was really disappointed that these let me down as I was expecting them to be really good.

Good boots mine are now damaged beyond repair due to a spill but i still have my foot. They took the brunt of the slide along the ground as foot peg sheared off. But i would buy another pair . Perhaps you brought a Friday afternoon pair.
