Default Swapsies

I'm supposed to be taking my mate's Z750 home tonight (and him taking my SV).

Normally I'd be keen to ride another bike, but it doesn't feel right letting him 'ride' my beloved SV....at least he is only doing about 25 miles whereas I'll be clocking nearly 100.

The other pity is, mine's a lovely sleek black bike, with a black screen etc, whereas his bike is fugly illuminous ORANGE!

Am considering not doing the swap

You will enjoy the extra grunt of the 750 over your 650 for sure - just make sure you rev it as all the fun is past 6000rpm

Great tip!

I took a GSX650F out the other week whilst my beautiful SV was being serviced....I can't say I was impressed, however the riding position was a bit more comfy. The front end felt really light, but the back felt REALLY heavy.

Hmmm, black is better! It's an '06 plate...not sure it's been above 6,000rpm, my mate is a 'conservative' rider....I'm sure I'll blow the cobwebs out of it tonight

Ahh so an old-shape like Skips

Had it been newer I would have said 6.5k is the start of the fun-zone
