Im not expecting top quality obviously at this price but some protection none the less. or is this a false economy? also....id like to use them for commuting...should i buy a size too big to go over jeans/trousers? or a few sizes too big? any advice welcome.... I'm using some Buffalo Cordura cargo style trousers which are OK for the money. They are not exactly 100% waterproof; more like shower proof but they are warm with removable quilted liner and knee armour and only £50 retail. I'm sure you could get some from the bay or somewhere much cheaper.

there are a number of choices it the cordura sum £50 bracket, I myself got a pair something like these although mine are Voto, full CE armour, I get one size up myself, but as they have removable lining you don't have to.
Cheers Mark.
