Bit extreme just to avoid a car wash....?

What you see before you is a pic - admittedly a bad one - I've just taken of a huge wave about to completely cover the car. Always I see people deliberately drive up to the end of the beach just to park and sit waiting for the waves to splash over them. I don't understand why they do it! Salt water is really bad news for cars so why completely immerse your car in it?

Can they just not be bothered to go to a car wash or do it themselves?

Oh and it's a little stormy here in Aber atm

I didn't know if it was going to be a picture of Chris's bike and him doing something to avoid washing it!

Erm no Blue, I was walking back from another beach so no car was present, I am a student who lives in Aber, I walk everywhere lol. And doggin' "again"?
