This is supposed to be a device that you stick to your bike and it detects when your phone rings and flashes.
I bought 2 cos I thought they sounded like a good idea. I have a bluetooth helmet device so I can take calls but with wind noise etc I don't hear or feel the phone ringing. Anyway, when they arrived they were flashing randomly. I put my phone next to one, walked some distance away then phoned it from another mobile. Nothing. Tried the other one - same result. Thought it might be interference from the wireless network so tried them outside - same again. Conclusion - they don't work. Avoid.

It's a BlueAnt Interphone. Quite good. Bought and fitted it mainly for its bike-to-bike intercom feature, but i've hardly actually used it.

my wife got me the sony bike kit some time ago, helmet mic & speaker and a button on the handlebars, all very nice, but soon found it was all pointless, I really don't want to take calls whilst riding, these days I just use voicemeil or txt to recieve call or stop for a brew and make them then.
Cheers Mark.

well yeah i agree, but its nice to know someone is phoning cos otherwise i wouldn't bother to check. I commute an hour each way down the m62 and with wind noise and battering and vibes etc I can't always tell if its ringing. So this device looks ideal - costs a fiver, sticks to the bike and lights up when someone rings - apparently

Some of them do work. But the problem is they don't just work with your phone, they work with everyone else's too. Waste of time

As said above, mine would set off as I rode past motorised shop doors etc. I had a little play around with it, and got reasonable results by adding resistance into the circuit. I've found more use for it since then though, detecting something else. ![]() |

mine sets off for everything except the phone! even waving a hand over it, off it goes. Put a phone next to it and ring it... nothing...
