Flipperty Jibloids...emails

every day i get at least 3-5 emails off banks ive never even walked into saying my account details need updating, obviously scammers are working hard 5 days a week to send these out to people..poor loves, their fingers must be killing them clicking send all day

anyway, is there a way i can get these mails stopped? i thought the email scanner doubrie with avg would filter them out and block them coming through but no, ive had four today. 2 off HSBC, 1 off Lloyds and 1 off Alliance and Leicester

strange thing is, ive yet to receive one off the bank ive been with for 20years. i registered my details with my bank to do the online thing but ive never used it, soo where are the mails coming from?

very strange!,u have had one from Alliance & Leicester who i have used for the last 11 years, but i havnt, had them from all the others but not my own!!

you aswell? how many others are having them?

Yep, i get them all the time. I warned my mum about them as she is a new Internet user at the age of 62! I said that if you get any eamils, just delete them.

yep get loads into one of my email addresses, I forward them to the relevant banks fraud dept, hopefully they can resolve, they do however look pretty convincing.

If there WAS a very simple to use, guaranteed to work solution to this I would be a very rich man by now.

As there isn't and I am not, you are just going to have to live with it.
