Fight! Python vs. Alligator

If you've always wondered who would win in a fight between a python and an alligator.

Hardly supprising though. If the python strikes quick enough the 'gator wouldn't stand a chance.

yeah me too, silly greedy python. There's another one somewhere about a python trying to get a hippo down, they clearly a bit dim

Good news Ed, it's not possible for a snake to engulf an adult human as we have them nice obstructing shoulders Doesn't stop them having a go though, I think there may be reports of one trying it, usually ends up with them splitting their sides - literally - and dying so you might be able to escape...then again it ain't likely as they'll probably crush you to death first....lovely creatures.

Given that the snake in question is large enough, I don't see shoulders posing a problem, especially if the victim is taken feet first.

I've seen pictures of a python with it's jaw wrapped around a large electric fence before (the fence killed the poor thing, but the fence was only there because the snake kept taking the farmers sheep).
