Sky tv

We,re are having a bit of an ecomony drive so decided to cut our sky package, so I rang sky and told them to cancel sky sports sky movies and few other things, in other words just the basic package, anyway they asked if it was a way of saving a bit of money and I said yeah so they,ve reduced the monthly cost from £47 to £30 for 3 months and I keep all my usual channels including sky sports give em a call, you might save a few quid.

aye, quick a common tactic this. it costs them far far more to disconnect you then reconnect you should you wish in a few months down the line.

tbh the father in law is always doing it, god knows how much he has saved over the years

I would fight for a virgin, question is, do they still exist

I'm getting the basic package for £3 a month for the past 4 months I still cancelled phone & internet with them though

TV will either stay on £3 a month or it'll get cancelled as well

Phoned 'em up to cancel last week - for the same reason "money saving".

They have now given me a years free line rental - just to stay with 'em. Bonus.

We did the same thing and they gave us a big discount for 6 months
