Hi,
I love listening to music as I ride, and I've been using the same old MP3 player forever, but now the earphones have fallen apart and I need a replacement. Most of the ones you can get now are the sort that actually stick in your ear, and I was wondering does anyone have experience of how comfy these are in a helmet? Thanks. |

Thanks those look good, they don't go all the way in the ear canal which is what I wasn't sure about. Lots of good reviews too, I'll give those a try, cheers

I wear Panasonic Clip-On Spiral Earphones (Model RP-HS9) but they are rather hard to get hold of now, its because I just don't get on with the in-ear type. The just fall out, or hurt rather a lot, so these are good due to there thin design. Can rub the top of your ear on long journey's, but its much better the ear pain I got.

Can use them with earplugs Personally I take them out of their foam padding & insert them behind the lining of the helmet - can't feel them at all but hear them fine. Last edited by Stu; 08-03-08 at 12:32 PM. |

Hi Stu, those look good, never seen any earphones specifically designed for bike helmets before. I've ordered some others now, but still I'll take those off your hands for ?15 if you still have them? PM sent anyways

I'm tempted by a pair of Denon C100s, I believe that's the name. About £150.

![]() At that price I would go for custom earplugs with inbuilt headphones (not that I get on with customs) If you want to spend 10% of that & few pence on earplugs I have plenty more helmet speakers. pm replied Larry ![]() |

I listen to music with headphones while I sleep, whenever I ride, it works out that I use headphones about 12 hours of the day on average, so I tend to allot a higher budget to them

sennheiser CX300
brilliant headphones!! great at cancelling out noise and you dont need to have them too loud in your ear. was really impressed with the sound quality too. can get the ear bud rubber bits in 3 diff sizes so you get a decent fit! |
