Default Service Kits - Worth it?

IMO, it is >>> CLICK <<<

A chain and sprocket kit is £100 on its own normally.

You can get cheaper than even i bought. I got Siloline 4t oil, NGK plugs and OEM oil filter for £44 from a dealer.

In the UK yes but only until 2009 where the engine gets two per cylinder.

Damned pricey if you ask me. It's not a heavy duty chain, the pads aren't HH and the filters are some unknown brand by the look of things. I dare say you'll be able to buy top quality items at your local dealer for the same or less.

They started putting twin spark engines into the SV in 2007.

It is the same quote for all the bikes, the majority of the bikes on the road are IL4's, so I am guessing it is just a standard blurb for every bike. Even if it does come with four, that leaves you with two spare for when they are needed.

Official UK spec came in with twin plugs per cylinder in 2008, Euro spec had twin spark in 2007.
